This inner-city park was used by the Calgary Lawn Bowling Club from 1929 to 2015. A two-sided interpretive sign stands on the spot of the former railing of the clubhouse.
Calgary is a winter city, enveloped in darkness much of the year. The use of 3-Form resin panels infused the project with light, making the park more inviting on long winter evenings. One side has a timeline of the club, the other explains the relationship between the game and the site design, which references aspects of lawn bowling in the shapes of the pathways and green spaces.
